The Design Process

1. Meet & Chat

The most important part of the process is getting to know you and your wedding. I want to indulge in every little detail of your big day; such as color choices, flowers, venue, and overall style. Before we meet for the first time, I will email you a pdf with fonts, colors, invitation styles and wording so you have time to look over your options. During our meeting we will chat about all the details of your wedding as well as what you are looking for in your wedding invitations. We will go our separate ways and I will set up your creative and quote.
The initial meeting is free of charge. We can meet in person at my home office, over the phone, or we can do it all through email; whichever is most convenient.

2. Creative & Quote

Within 2-3 days of our initial meeting I will email a creative and quote. The creative is a pdf that outlines what fonts, colors, and style will be used in your invitations. The quote gives you the approximate cost of your invitations.

3. Initial Design

Once the creative and quote have been approved, a 50% non-refundable deposit is required. Once the deposit is received, I will begin designing your full invitation suite. Within 5 days (usually less) of receiving your deposit, I will send a digital file of the full invitation design.

4. Edits & Final Design

You’ll approve each piece of the invitation (at this point you are allowed two revisions at no charge) until you’re 100% satisfied with the final product.

5.Hard Sample/Approval

After the digital design has been approved a full sample of the invitation suite will go in the mail for final approval Before the final suite gets printed, you will need to approve all design and content with a digital signature via email. It’s crucial that you check for spelling errors and confirm that all information is correct to avoid re-printing fees.

6. Print & Assemble

As soon as you’ve signed on the dotted line, printing will begin and the finished pieces will be delivered to you ready for assembly. You are probably a busy bride with a zillion other things to get done, which is why it’s my pleasure to assemble your invitations for you (for an additional fee).
